- Added USDA matching to the website demo
- Improved ingredient -> USDA matching
- Coverage is now 72.69% (up from 61.25% last week)
- Sped up my process for adding new USDA matches
- Did two new releases based on improvements to the ML model
- Stripped more bad characters from user inputs
- Added better support for picking a single ingredient when the input string contains disjunctions
- e.g., “red or orange bell peppers”
- Added/fixed 900 training examples
- Dropped ~200 incorrect training examples from my corpus

- Sent follow-up emails to four founders I reached out to previously
- No response from three, one agreed to an in-person meeting

Last year, I digitized about 40 hours of my family’s old home videos and put them on a private media server for my family. I’m in the process of cleaning up my tools so I can publish a guide about this.
