• Published my February 2026 retrospective
• Fixed some dead link checks

Refactoring English

• Split up audience chapter into two:
  • “Help the Reader Achieve Their Goal”
  • “Meet the Reader Where They Are”
• Switched to a more flexible system for chapter ordering
  • I previously baked chapter numbers into the file folder names, but it meant renaming a bunch of files any time I re-ordered chapters
  • Now I have numberless chapter names and a list that puts them into order for rendering the book
• Sent a challenge out to readers to distinguish an AI-generated design doc from a real one that I wrote by hand

Little Moments

Little Moments is an open-source web app I’m working on to replace the current family photo sharing app (TinyBeans) I used (which I strongly dislike).

• Updated the design doc to change ‘User permissions’ to ‘User roles’ and define them earlier

Misc

• Made my first contribution to Firefox
  • And created a Nix flake for setting up a Firefox dev environment with all their tooling
• Submitted a bugfix to kivaloo
• Did monthly bookkeeping
  • I’d skipped a month for the first time in about 4 years
